My Blogging Genesis

If it were asked of me to compose the beginning of my personal blogging history, I would certainly concoct some elaborate tale of life-changing moments, flashes of lightning, fire-breathing dragons, and a ride in a hot air balloon. I, however, was not consulted on this aspect of my forthcoming sojourn. No, instead I must confess to you, dear world, that I do not altogether know where the beginning truly begins for me and this new adventure... Was it upon the haphazard challenge from my mother to begin a blog in order to sharpen my writing skills? Was it in response to reading an article about how a blog can be an asset to one's resume? Was it a romantic whim based on a late night viewing of "Julie and Julia" a few weeks ago? To be honest, I must claim ignorance on this issue. Yes, blissful ignorance is where my blogging genesis has established its roots, but is by no means its destination... Where we will go only the bees know, but one thing is for certain: it will be a delightful journey getting there, wherever "there" is. So, for now, here's to the bees!
